“VFE” is a high-performance vibration damping material developed using 21st century technology.
The high-performance vibration damping material "VFE" is a 21st century vibration damping material developed to suppress vibrations in environments that require durability, such as factory equipment, gun cushions, and bridges. Conventionally, many turntable mats are made of rubber-based materials, but since rubber materials have large internal stress distortions, they release vibrations in a distorted manner. This is the cause of what is called a ``rubber sound''. "VFE" suppresses vibration by mechanical friction between molecules, so internal stress distortion is surprisingly low and vibration is suppressed without coloring the sound.
Highly conductive carbon graphite resin material is used on the label surface.
The label surface uses high-density carbon graphite that exhibits high vibration damping properties. Graphite has the effect of removing static electricity through its "corona discharge" effect due to its conductivity, reducing scratch noise and making it difficult for dust to adhere to records.
Outstanding durability and stability
Conventional products contain plastic materials, and due to deterioration of the material over time, known as ``settling'', they are no longer able to absorb vibrations adequately. VFE does not use corrosive materials such as plastic materials or sulfur, so it is resistant to aging and there is no need to worry about damaging your precious records or audio equipment.
